  • ASHLEY CHANEY

    FOUNDER

  • SAMANTHA WARNER

    FOUNDER

  • MATTHEW R. JENSEN, M.T.S.

    FACILITATOR

For over two decades Matthew has specialized in helping others through crisis and trauma at the highest levels. He’s worked under the LA County Board of Supervisors to mediate the most severe complaints against law enforcement, was a leader in The Salvation Army and oversaw operations throughout the U.S. focusing on revamping county and state-wide social services for the most vulnerable, and now serves as a “Care Pastor” triaging cases of hardship while serving as a gateway to all relevant services that enable individuals and families to find holistic healing. He’s worked with diverse populations including everything from military and law enforcement leadership, politicians, foreign governments, sports athletes and celebrities, to human traffickers, gang members, and extremists.

Matthew has two teen daughters, and is currently a doctoral candidate focusing his academic research on empowering victims to find healing after a traumatic event in fresh ways.

He’s considered by many to be their lifeline to find hope in times of hopelessness, a transformative spiritual guide, and a safe mentor who will model compassion and understanding while at the same time helping to chart out practical ways forward that are unique to each individual.

  • JACQUELINE WHEELER

    FACILITATOR

Jackie is an experienced trauma practitioner whose work bridges the worlds of the mind and body, the concrete and abstract, the medical and the sacred.

In her 15 years working in mental health, she has helped trauma survivors of all kinds: those who have endured single-incident, earth-shattering “capital T” traumas, and the more discreet, chronic, repetitive shocks to the heart and soul that are often minimized or overlooked but nevertheless carry a powerfully destructive force.

Jackie holds a doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) and certifications in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and NeuroAffective Touch. Her training sites include community counseling centers, psychoanalytic institutes, UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience (neuropsychology rotation) and the West Los Angeles VA Hospital (neuropsychology and health psychology rotations). In the last few years she has begun to study and incorporate more holistic, energy and intuitive healing practices.

She was an active member of Shelly Harrell, Ph.D.’s PEaCE Research Lab, studying the promotion of wellness and community, and David Foy, Ph.D.’s Trauma and Military Research Lab studying moral injury. She has extensive research and clinical experience in medical trauma, chronic illness, and how our bodies store, process, and express trauma and stress.

Jackie is a psychological associate currently operating under the license and supervision of esteemed trauma psychologist and NeuroAffective Touch teacher, Lauren Moses, PsyD.
